Recently we have been hearing about an increase in Shingles with a possible link to the Chicken Pox Vaccine being given to children. I have been wondering about this since we now have grandchildren who are the 1st generation to receive the shots. My husband & I both came from larger families & everyone naturally got the chicken pox & I don’t personally remember anyone getting shingles until recently.

Easy Cajun Jambalaya Chicken Recipe
Prep time: 10 mins – Cook time: 30 mins – Total time: 40 mins – Serves: 8
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1/2 pound smoked sausage, sliced 1/4-inch thick
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 tablespoon Cajun Seasoning
- 2 1/2 cups chicken broth
- 1 can (14 1/2 ounces) stewed tomatoes
- 1 cup long grain rice
Instructions:
- Heat oil in large heavy skillet on medium-high heat. Add chicken and sausage; cook and stir 5 minutes. Remove from skillet.
- Stir onion into skillet; cook and stir on medium heat 2 minutes or until onion is softened. Stir in Seasoning. Return chicken and sausage to skillet.
- Stir in broth and tomatoes; bring to boil. Stir in rice. Reduce heat to low; cover and cook 20 to 25 minutes or until rice is tender, stirring occasionally.

Best Ever Homemade Granola Recipe
Ingredients
5 Cups Quick Oats
1/2 Cup Dry Milk (Optional)
1/2 Cup Raisins (Optional)
3/4 Teaspoon Cinnamon
Pinch of Salt
1/3 Cup Honey
1/3 Cup Oil
3/4 Cup Brown Sugar
Instructions
Stir Dry Mix Together in Large Bowl
Heat Honey, Oil, & Brown Sugar to Boiling
Remove from Heat & Stir Into Dry Ingredients

Note: If You Boil the Liquid Ingredients a Few Minutes, it Will be Like Nuggets in the Granola. Also, You May Bake at 375 for 10 Minutes if Desired.
No Bake Fudgy Boil Cookies
Prep time: 15 mins
Cook time: 1 mins
- 4 tbs Cocoa Powder
- 1 cup Sugar
- 8 tbs Butter
- 8 tbs Milk
- 1 tps Vanilla
- Pinch Salt
- 8 tbs Peanut Butter
- 3 Cups Oatmeal
Instructions
- Mix Sugar, Cocoa Pwd, Butter & Milk in Pan.
- Boil for 1 Minute Stirring Constantly.
- Remove From Heat & Add the Following:
- Vanilla, Salt, Peanut Butter & Oatmeal
- Stir & Drop by Spoonfuls Onto Wax Paper.
- Taste Test at Least 1 Before Cooled…Yummy!
