Pain Relief Recipe made with Cayenne Pepper
Below is a popular pain relief made with red cayenne pepper. You can make at home yourself at home with just a few ingredients.
Cayenne Pepper Pain Salve Recipe:
1/2 cup olive oil
2 tbsp cayenne pepper powder
4-8 teaspoons beeswax
-Bring a cup of water to a boil in a double boiler pan. Add the oil and cayenne pepper in the center pan and let sit for approximately 20 minutes. Let sit for an hour or so and reheat but do not boil the mix.
-You can check the oil by dipping and cooling a small amount on a toothpick and testing it on your wrist or skin to see if the cayenne pepper is infused into the oil enough. If you have no pain to relieve, you can touch a drop to your tongue to confirm that the cayenne pepper has infused into the oil.
-When you are satisfied that it is good, drain the oil into a piece of cheese cloth back into bottom pan without the water. Add the beeswax to the oik mix and reheat adding more if needed.
-Pour the mix into a small wide mouth glass jar and let cool.
Rub into sore muscles, on arthritic joints or anywhere that pain relief is needed. Please remember to not put your hands near your eyes and be sure to wash the cayenne pepper residue from your hands with soap.
