Description
Elderberries has often been used for cold & flue relief. Elder Berry is said to stop viruses from entering the cells. A study of 60 flu victims showed that taking 15 ml of elderberry syrup 4 times a day improved symptoms in 2-4 days which was about half the time of a normal flu cycle.

Elderberry Syrup Recipe
Ingredients
3/4 cup elderberries
3 cups water
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp cloves
1 tbs ginger
1 cup raw honey
Instructions
Bring elderberries, water and spices to a boil.
Reduce heat, cover & simmer until liquid is reduced by 1/2 (40-45 min)
Cool, then drain with a fine strainer or cheese cloth.
Press out the rest of the liquid with a spoon.
Add honey, mix well.
Can be stored in fridge for 2 months.
